Understanding icebergs

What is Iceberg?

Iceberg is a tool that supports teachers in conducting structured and meaningful learning and coaching conversations. It accompanies every step of the process – from preparation and the conversation itself to follow-up and parent communication.

</details>

Who is Eisberg intended for?

</details>

How does an iceberg work?

Do I need to prepare before every conversation?

A few sentences on your observation will be enough. Eisberg will provide the conversation structure and the right questions.

</details>

Will Eisberg replace my way of teaching?

No. Eisberg provides a framework for the conversation and supplies questions. How you lead is up to you.

</details>

Launch and discovery phase

How does the free trial work?

You will gain access to the explorer area with an introductory video and all materials. When you are ready, you start your two months and work with two learners. There are no costs, you do not need to provide payment details and you do not need to cancel.

</details>

How long will it take before I can start?

After completing the form, you will receive access by email. The introductory video lasts a good half an hour, after which you can prepare your first conversation.

</details>

Do I need school authorisation to use Iceberg?

Generally not for the discovery phase. What is important is parental consent, which Eisberg obtains when a profile is created. If your school is to cover the costs, we have prepared a letter and information for the headteacher.

</details>

What do I get with a licence?

Iceberg for one teacher and one class, plus an onboarding webinar, regular live webinars with experts, exchange with other teachers and technical support. Iceberg Plus additionally includes the continuous professional development area of Pädagogik+ as well as an introductory discussion and four 1:1 reflection sessions per year.

Privacy policy

Is the conversation being recorded?

Yes. Eisberg records the conversation and transcribes it so that you don't have to take notes at the same time. Details on storage can be found in the privacy policy.

</details>

Is iceberg GDPR compliant?

Ja. Eisberg arbeitet DSGVO-konform, mit Zero-Retention und Servern in der EU.

</details>

Can parents access the app?

Parents receive a structured summary by email after the meeting, in their preferred language. The teacher reviews and approves it. Responsibility and control thus remain with the teacher.

</details>

In everyday life

Does that make my daily routine more complex?

On the contrary. Notes, summaries and parent information are generated automatically. What used to mean up to an hour of documentation after every meeting is reduced to a few minutes.

</details>

Can I use Iceberg in different languages?

The parent mail is created in the parents' preferred language. We will add which languages the app itself supports here.

</details>

What sets Eisberg apart from other tools?

Iceberg is not documentation software, but accompanies the conversation itself. The questions were developed by certified learning coaches and educational therapists, the goal-setting work is based on the WOOP method, and development remains visible across several conversations. This is complemented by personal support from the Pädagogik+ team. View product

</details>
